Stunning flowers from OK Bouquet.

I was sent a stunning bunch of flowers from www.okbouquet.com to review, and I am so happy to do so because I am genuinely very impressed! You know me, I love an honest review, and I have really enjoyed this one.

This morning, I received a text from the courier giving me a one hour window for delivery, which meant I was able to plan my day around it. I hate missing a delivery, especially if it means I have to trudge miles and miles away to a warehouse to collect it. When he arrived, I was presented with a large and well-packaged box.

Henry and I happily unwrapped it, and we were presented with the most beautiful bouquet of spring flowers. I really wish there was such a thing as “Smell-O-Internet” so I that I could share with you the great scent they have filled our house with! One of the first things I noticed was the clever way they packaged the flowers inside the box. They were propped up in a square plastic tray, which was filled with a wet mulch so that they didn’t dry out in transit. I think that’s the first time I’ve ever seen that, and was happy to find that not only did it keep them hydrated without the cardboard box getting wet, it also kept the flowers in the same order that they had been arranged – which is ideal for someone like me, who is the first to admit I’m not very good at floral displays from scratch! I have heard lots of stories from friends in the past who have received flowers from other online retailers that were completely ruined in transit, so this is one great selling point that OK Bouquet can offer.

This particular bouquet is called “Spring Garden” and can be found here. It costs only £25, which I personally think is great value for money, especially when you take into account the large size of the arrangement. It is filled with creamy white, bright yellow and pastel pink tulips, alongside fragrant purple hyacinths and eucalyptus foliage. Spring has well and truly sprung in our house now!

My flowers bring life to the rooms in which they now sit. The bouquet was so big, I was able to divide them into two vases. The gorgeous smell now fills our lounge and dining room.

Flowers really are the perfect gift, because there is something for everyone, and for every occasion. Flowers can say anything and everything. Of course, you don’t have to wait for a special occasion to send flowers. You can always send someone a bouquet ‘just because’, and I would happily recommend OK Bouquet the next time you’re thinking of sending flowers. For me, it’s the finishing touches that make a big difference, and OK Bouquet is certainly good at that! They offer next day delivery throughout the UK mainland (excluding Mondays), but including weekends – which means they even deliver on a Sunday! I can think of many occasions when this would be handy – birthdays, anniversaries, christenings, Mother’s day etc.

The care card that came with the flowers was also a lovely finishing touch. It gives good advice about how to care for the display, and includes some handy tips that I wouldn’t have even considered – such as not placing them near fruit!
